The Town of Waxhaw is busily preparing for the second annual BBQ Cook-Off “Grill’n & Chill’n on Main” to be held on Oct 8th, 2011, (in conjunction with Autumn Treasures Oct 8th-9th.)

BBQ Categories will be Boston Butt BBQ and BBQ Spare Ribs, with prize money of $2,500 to be awarded. Net proceeds to be donated to a deserving charity to be determined by the Cook-Off Committee. The application deadline is September, 9, 2011 or when all spaces are booked. The Cook-off will be judged by the North Carolina BBQ Society (NCBS) judges along with Cook-off Committee selected judges.
